Yay Jaimie!

Once upon a time, The xx were considered one of the hottest up and coming bands in Britain. They released their debut, released a second, and then went quiet for a bit. That is, until Jamie xx started making waves of his own.

Jamie xx is, of course, the enigmatic producer behind The xx's signature sound. This week he debuted his first solo album In Colour, which certainly manages to recapture the feeling most people experienced when they first heard The xx.

It might be a solo album but Jamie clearly isn't one to shy away from a little help from his friends.

The trio hopped across the channel to perform"Loud Places" on France's answer to Jool's Holland, Le Grande Journal.

Romy and Jamie, who are originally on the track, performed alongside their pal and bandmate Oliver Sims. Jamie was also accompanied by a small choir.
