Miley Cyrus is currently in the midst of one of the most vocal and widespread celebrity campaigns for tolerance and sexual individuality.
The former Disney star who shed her "good girl" image prior to releasing Bangerz, has now become an advocate for homeless, underprivileged, and LGBTQ youth.
Her latest project, #instapride, is a portrait series that Miley is championing via her instagram page. The portraits are designed to showcase LGBTQ beauty on her page. One such beauty is her good friend Tyler Ford.
Last night at the amfAR Gala (American foundation for AIDS research), where Miley was set to receive an award, the star brought along an a gender date named Tyler Ford. Ford writes for Rookie Mag and is heavily involved in Transgender campaigning and awareness. The activist's pronouns are they/them.
Tyler presented Miley with an award and was spotted with high profile celebrities including Lavern Cox.
