It's called "Lampshades On Fire".

After cancelling their proposed UK tour last year to work on a new album and disappointing everyone (me), Modest Mouse are back after an extremely long hiatus.

"Lampshades On Fire" comes at you hard with it's dancing piano, much-missed Brock vocals and decidedly MM guitar.

It's one of those songs that will lift your tired heart as your face is repeatedly smushed into a stranger's shoulder/mass of curly hair as you navigate your way through your chosen method of public transport. (It's nice).

Listen now over at 89.3 current.

Forthcoming album Strangers To Ourselves will be out March 3 via Epic.
