If you're one of those people who doesn't have a friend that can recognise any song you hum to them, you're in luck because Shazam has your back.

The company has just released its annual round-up of the most Shazam'd songs of the year and it was basically a massive year for dance music.

Swedish DJ Avicii was the most Shazam'd artist of the year, while fellow DJ David Guetta was just one place behind him.
