They've done it again! We'd like to say a MASSIVE congratulations to the boys from Down Under for winning their SECOND 'Worst Band' award in a row at the annual NME Awards! What an achievement! What an honour! So proud!

Last year, the boys were so thrilled by their nomination, Mikey decided to take matters into his own hands to ensure that shiny piece of silverware would make its way into their trophy cabinet. And it seems like the fans have managed to do it again.

There's been no official reaction to 2016's historical win yet because THEY'RE BUSY ON A ~WORLD TOUR~ but at what cost has this year's victory come, 5SOS-ers? Unlike last year's weak competition, your boys were up against the worst Worst Band in the world, Nickelback. NICKELBACK YOU GUYS! You literally voted 5SOS over Nickelback. Jokes or no jokes, that's a pretty serious claim. (Side note: We're still not 100% sure why we're all meant to hate Nickelback but internet memes are verbatim, as you all know.)
