9. Alessia Cara talks about her synaesthesia
Alessia Cara confirmed that she has synaesthesia, telling UMusic, “for me, it was just a natural pairing to my music. Everything audible was visual to me—and it still is. It’s kind of cool to listen back and see, well, this song feels kind of purple or this song feels this way.” Synaesthesia is a neurological condition where one sense is also perceived by another sense (i.e. people might hear a sounds and see different colours associated with that sound). photo via UMusic
