Ariana Grande season is well and truly upon us. She launched her brand new era with 'No Tears Left to Cry' in April, blessed us with two Nicki Minaj collaborations in June ('The Light Is Coming', 'Bed') and is currently gearing up to release her highly anticipated fourth studio album Sweetener in August. To make things even more exciting, she has just released her next single 'God Is A Woman'.

No. We are not joking. A new Ariana Grande single is with us and it's incredible. The track was originally scheduled to come out on July 20th but Ariana announced last night that she decided to push forward the release date to today. Produced by Ariana's longterm collaborator Max Martin and co-written with Savan Kotecha and Ilya, 'God Is A Woman' could be her sexiest single yet.

The lyrics are something else. In it Ariana is singing about the fact that she is so good at sex that if you ever have the chance to have it with her, you will 'believe that God is a woman'. Amazing.

WHAT A SONG.

Ariana is no stranger to sexual empowerment anthems. 'Dangerous Woman', 'Side to Side' and 'Love Me Harder' are all thot bops in their finest form. However, the 'God Is A Woman' lyrics turn things up a notch and quite frankly we were breaking a sweat just reading them when Ariana teased them ahead of the song's release. They are THAT steamy.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Ariana unveiled some of the words to the song. She wrote: "you ..... love it how i move you, love it how i touch you my one". Swoon. Our hearts are already racing. She then added: "when all is said n done, you’ll believe god is a woman". We believe this with every fibre of our beings.

We need these tattooed on us.

Ariana didn't stop there though. The 'Into You' star then tweeted: "and i..... feel it after miiiiidnight, a feelin that u cant fight". We're fully blushing right now. And she followed it with: ".... it lingers when we’re done, you’ll believe god is a woman". The sexually confident woman jumped out.

As if we weren't already on the verge of fainting, the 'Into You' star finally added: "pussy issa privilege". It's not a lyric in the single but it's poetry all the same and a message that deserves to be spread around the world.

And we're not the only ones obsessed with the lyrics.

However, some people were a little less into them. Shocked by the explicit content of the new song one fan wrote on Twitter: "thought it was about female empowerment?". Nonetheless, Ariana immediately schooled them by saying that it still is. "Sex is empowering. it’s the source of all life. pussy is a privilege," she responded.

She even gave out some brilliant words of wisdom when another Arianator asked: "what's your advice to people that don't know if they're ready to do it?". Ariana replied: "do not do it. it should be beautiful and fulfilling and dope. it’s your choice." This is essential guidance for anyone who's unsure about having sex.
