A string of Sweetener Tour meet and greets on Ariana Grande's European leg have been cancelled as the singer reveals her anxiety and depression are at an "all-time high."

Ariana Grande is probably having one of the busiest years of her career. With two albums out since last August and a lengthy hit tour underway, the superstar is easily one of the hardest working musicians in the game right now. As Ariana continues the European leg of her Sweetener Tour, news has broken that singer has cancelled upcoming meet and greets and soundcheck parties.

The news come a few days after Ariana cancelled an Antwerp, Belgium meet and greet, opening up via email to fans who were set to attend her show. In the message, Ariana was candid about her depression and anxiety being "at an all time high lately." She revealed that she had experienced panic attacks on the day in question and wanted to "preserve [her] energy" for the show instead of seeming "shaky" in a meet and greet situation.

A statement from Live Nation confirms the meet and greet cancellations.

"Thanks to increased demand, Ariana is thrilled and humbled to have been able to add extra shows to the your for her fans. It's not something she takes for granted. These extra months on the road, however, are not only exhilarating but exhausting. Due to the need to preserve her voice and energy, we regret to inform you that there will not be a Meet & Greet or Soundcheck Party offered at your show. This decision doesn’t come easily and the last thing she would ever want to do is disappoint fans, but something has to give to allow her to continue giving 100% to her performances."

Fans from tour dates in Scotland, Ireland, Germany and other locations have taken to social media to voice post screenshots of their meet and greet cancellation notices and voice their frustration.

Interestingly enough, fellow musicians Smash Mouth commented on the situation."Meet&Greets are NOT easy especially for huge artists like Ariana," tweeted the band. "400 people Meet&Greet before every show? We all love people but goodness."

Though many fans are expressing disappointment over the meet and greet cancellations, even more are eager for the singer to rest and improve her mental health.

"Please remember that ari's mental health comes first," urged one fan.

"We love u and respect the decision you’ve made about the meet and greet! whatever’s best for u get well soon feel better everything’s gonna be ok," said another.
