Ariana Grande's stylist addresses accusations she "stole" looks from Rihanna and Ciara

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?

Ariana Grande's stylist Law Roach has addressed accusations that the singer's wardrobe for her Sweetener World Tour was copied from RuPaul's Drag Race star Farrah Moan, Rihanna and Ciara.

Basically, the fashion drama all started when Ari filed a $10 million lawsuit against Forever 21 for using her likeness. Farrah then clapped back at the news and accused the 'thank u, next' singer of "stealing" the design of a corset dress she wore on All Stars 4, after hiring a designer to create something similar for Ari's '7 Rings' music video.

Instagram account Diet Prada, which is dedicated to calling out knock-off designs, then accused Ariana of appropriating black aesthetics with her tour wardrobe.

Posting a moodboard containing looks from Rihanna, the account wrote: "If you've ever needed proof of Ariana Grande’s appropriation of black aesthetics (beyond the obvious), it's all here. Multiple designers approached by her team to create costumes for the 2019 Sweetener tour have shared with us a PDF moodboard sent to them by her team. 72% of the four page document features black women as a reference (mostly Rihanna and a couple Ciara images).

Diet Prada said: "It also features several images of @creepyyeha's distinctive made-to-measure bondage-wear, which Versace – despite having bondage in their house codes as well – seemed to have replicated with minor changes. Arianators, come at us lol." Yikes…

Law has now responded to the backlash on his Instagram Story. He wrote: "I love @diet_prada !! But I don't really understand this post. This mood board was created by me (a black man) for her. So am stealing from my own culture?? She didn't style herself people."

"She has trusted me for years with her image and let's me do me. Also who and the fashion industry isn't inspired by Rihanna so dieters come at me and whoever else I'm ready!!!! [sic]"

Ariana hasn't publicly commented on all the latest drama yet but considering she's been accused of cultural appropriation, blackfishing and having a blaccent in the past, she'll probably keep quiet on this one.
