Ariana posted a message on Instagram stories asking fans who attend her shows to avoid grabbing her friends and members of staff without their permission
"Friendly reminder," she wrote. "Grabbing/touching people without their consent is harassment. Please do not put your hands on my photographers or friends or anyone you don't know for that matter when you're in the pit at my shows. It's never okay or funny. Thank you."
"I can't believe this has to be said....but unfortunately it happens often....thanks for listening," Ariana added in her Instagram stories post.
Fans are reacting to the request from Ariana. One fan wrote "This not only applies to Ariana and the people surrounding her but also for BTS and every other artist in existence and their staff/friends. Please, let's stop the harassment towards them and be respectful."
It is unclear if there was a specific incident that prompted Ariana to post the message warning fans about touching her friends and members of staff.
