Frankie Grande insisted in a now-deleted tweet that Ariana Grande is single and not dating Mikey Foster of social house.

Ariana Grande is having a landmark year. The 26-year-old superstar has been riding high on the success of thank u, next as well as her hugely popular Sweetener tour. The usual speculation about Ariana's love life has not slowed down, either. The release of her recent collaboration with Social House led to questions about whether Ari was romantically involved with Mikey Foster, who she gets close to in the music video for 'Boyfriend'.

Social House joined Ari on her Sweetener Tour this year and their surprise collaboration is an ode to an all-too-familiar situation for anyone who has rejected romantic labels in the past.

Fans predictably parsed birthday messages and alleged sightings of the pair getting close. Now Ariana's brother Frankie has set the record straight about whether Ari and Mikey are dating after seemingly hinting at a coupling just a few days ago.

“I love Mikey. I think he’s a really sweet guy," Frankie told Us Weekly. "So talented. So kind and so caring."

Frankie also reportedly told Us Weekly that he and his boyfriend had recently spent time with Ari and Mikey, which sent fan speculation into overdrive. However, in a now-deleted tweet, Frankie clarified that Ariana is "very much single".

On September 5, Frankie said on Twitter: "My sister is not in a relationship. Everyone relax. She is very much single." Well!! There you have it.

Of course, Ari and Mikey don't necessarily owe anyone a confirmation or explanation about the nature of their relationship. And then there's the fact that they collaborated on a song specifically about not labelling a situationship.

So, basically...if there's anything Ari wants us to know, she'll let us know! Case closed (for now)!

What do you guys think? Are you a fan of Ariana Grande and Social House's song, 'Boyfriend'?
