Ariana has covered up her tribute to Pete Davidson's late father with a tattoo in honour of Mac Miller's dog Myron.
Since their October 2018 break up, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have been making a few more pit stops at their local tattoo parlours, mainly to cover up the overwhelming number of matching and tribute tattoos they got for one another.
A number of them have already been covered up: Pete has had a black heart drawn over his Dangerous Woman bunny ears, and Ariana has covered her 'reborn' tattoo with a leaf, and hidden her 'Pete' finger tattoo with a heart.
And now, it appears as though she's covered up another one of her Pete-inspired tattoos, with a tribute to Mac Miller.
A few days after releasing what can only be described as 'the best music video of the last century', Ariana gave her fans another treat in the form of a behind the scenes look at how the 'thank u, next' video was made.
In the video, we see Ariana with her choreographers and back up dancers Scott and Brian Nicholson learning how to do the 'thank u, next' which is Ariana's new version of the 'Bend and snap' from Legally Blonde. As she's doing it, she gives a shout out to her foot ("Wow, what a foot!" - Grande, A. 2018.) and as the camera zooms in, she shows her fans a glimpse of her fresh ink - the name 'Myron.' Myron is the name of Mac Miller's dog, that Ariana now takes full care of.
Fans will instantly recognise that the tattoo now covers the numbers "8414", which was the badge number that belonged to Pete's late father who worked as a firefighter and sadly died in the September 11 attacks.
The new tattoo isn't the only heartfelt tribute Ariana has made in celebration of Mac's life recently. In the 'thank u, next' video, she also opted to leave him out of her burn book, explaining to a fan on Twitter that 'M ain’t in the book he next to [her] bed' instead. BRB, just going ✈️ sobbing.
