One taught me love, one taught me patience and one taught me pain...

It's no secret that 'thank u, next' is already one of the biggest singles of the year so far. Ariana Grande surprise released it on Saturday (Nov. 3) and, since then, it's become a bit of a phenomenon. Not only has it broken major streaming records ('thank u, next' lays claim to the most streams by a female artist in one day on Spotify) but it's also topped iTunes charts around the world and received widespread praise.

People have immediately connected to the song's highly relatable message (it is about moving on from an ex and the power that comes with being single) and deeply personal lyrics (in 'thank u, next' Ariana directly addresses her past boyfriends Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez, Mac Miller and Pete Davidson). In fact, people love the lyrics so much that they've adapted one of the lines into a viral meme.

Check out the best 'one taught me love, one taught me patience and one taught me pain' memes inspired by 'thank u, next' below.
