There is nothing fake about this relationship...

There is no question that it is the season of love right now. There was the Royal Wedding in May, then just last month Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson got engaged and to top it all off Justin Bieber popped the question to Hailey Baldwin yesterday. In other words, we've got plenty more weddings to get excited over in the coming months and the sheer romance of it all is making our cold hearts melt.

Nevertheless, there are some naysayers. Ariana has already received a bit of flack for the speed at which she and Pete have gone from being girlfriend and boyfriend to fiancés and a couple of longterm Jelena stans are struggling to process the fact that he is not getting married to the 'Hands to Myself' hitmaker. It's okay. We couldn't be happier for Justin and Hailey but we sympathise.

Perhaps most shocking of all though, a fan just yesterday appeared to suggest that both Ariana and Justin's engagements were fake and masterminded by their manager Scooter Braun. The Arianator tweeted: "First Ariana get engaged to pete Davidson and now Justin bieber to hailey Baldwin the devil works hard but Scooter Braun works harder."

Never one to let this kind of criticism fly though, Ariana responded. The 'Love Me Harder' superstar said: "..... you do realize we are human beings who love and have lives ...... right .... ? and that scooter is a wonderful human being too who cares first n foremost ab our health and happiness ? love is lit. shit happens. i hope to god it happens to you too. u deserve it."

Ariana then deleted the tweet but people screenshotted it.

A classy legend. Fans were quick to point out to Ariana though that the original tweet was intended as a joke and nothing at all serious. One wrote: "it was just a stan twitter joke, we stan and love scooter" and Ariana replied: "okay okay be nice to that man. he’s wonderful. and very human. always puts his artists’ health and happiness first."

What a sweetheart.

We must protect Ariana Grande at all costs. In conclusion, Scooter is a great manager and there's nothing in any way fake about Ariana and Pete or Hailey and Justin's engagements. The season of love remains the season of love.
