The couple went their separate ways in October.

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have been on a mission to cover up all their matching tattoos stemming from their whirlwind engagement and somehow they've ended up with near-identical break up ink. Great minds think a little too alike... The former couple once shared a plethora of romantic tattoos including, "Reborn" and the phrase "H2GKMO" (Honest To God Knock Me Out).

Now, Ariana Grande appears to have replaced a tattoo of Pete's initials with a black heart. The God is a Woman singer's latest round of ink was spotted in a teaser for her upcoming Thank U, Next video.

Ari appeared to have a new black heart tattoo on her finger, after previously using a bandage to cover up the area during her performance on A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway. The new ink also matches another spotted behind Ariana's ear in the Breathin video.

But Ariana's heart coincidentally happens to match one of Pete's recent tattoos. The Saturday Night Live comedian had the Dangerous Woman bunny ears inked behind his ear while in a relationship with Ari. But when the couple were breaking up Pete chose to cover it up with a black heart.

But why the black heart? Well, it's the same emoji she's been using in her tweets and to promote Thank U, Next. She also half-jokingly tweeted that her heart was "empty and black now" after the break up. Aww, Ari.

Now we don't think Ariana meant to get exactly the same tattoo as her ex but you just never know. Both seem to get a new tattoo every week so a crossover was bound to happen. And something tells us this won't be the last we hear of Ari and Pete's tats.
