Ariana's upcoming music video for 'thank u, next' has references to 'Legally Blonde', '13 Going On 30', and 'Mean Girls'. She has already called it her "favorite video".

Ariana Grande's music video for her hit single 'thank u, next' is already shaping up to be a serious collaboration of fun and fantastic film references and cameos. What looked, at first, to be a project that highlighted the singer's love of Mean Girls has actually blossomed into confirmation that the star will be spoofing 13 Going on 30 and Legally Blonde, as well.

Ari has worked on the 'thank u, next' visuals with Hannah Lux Davis and the references and appearances have 'music video of the year' written all over it.

Ariana shared a photo of herself with Jennifer Coolidge, who plays the iconic Paulette in Legally Blonde.

If you didn't immediately think "I'M TAKING THE DOG, DUMBASS" while looking at this photo, I truly have nothing for you. You may also remember Ariana doing this tres impressive impression of Paulette on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Of course, it's not a Legally Blonde moment without the expressed blessing of one Reese Witherspoon, who also chimed in after Ari began posting more LB references.

The singer shared tons of content dedicated to the iconic Elle Woods, the charismatic law student who, in 2001, taught everyone that "the first cardinal rule of perm maintenance is that you're forbidden to wet your hair for at least twenty-four hours after getting a perm".

The Ariana Grande 'one taught me love' meme is the best thing to come out of 'thank u, next'

For fans of 13 Going on 30, Jennifer Garner's character will also be revisited as fans noticed Ariana donning an identical outfit to the lead.

She confirmed the connection and teased fans saying that they had "guessed the third! but there's still one more."

13 Going on 30 is of course, the iconic 2004 film about a teenager who is transformed into an adult woman over night but has no memories of the years in between her 13th birthday and her 30th.

Ariana confirmed to a fan that four movies would be referenced in the 'thank u, next' video. Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, and 13 Going on 30 all have the common thread of being early 00s films about young iconic women. So what could the last film be?

Ariana has already said 'thank u, next' will "probably be my favorite video i’ll ever do", so our expectations are through the roof.

Ariana's Victorious co-star and good pal Elizabeth Gillies also appears to be involved in the music video. The Dynasty actress posted a Mean Girls quote on Instagram along with a photo of a set of legs. What a time to be alive.

What do you guys think? What other films might Ariana reference in the 'thank u, next' video?
