"I never knew you could change your race."

Ariana Grande just graced the cover of Vogue for the first time alongside her adorable pup, Toulouse. In the open and candid spread, Ariana talks about her exes Pete Davidson and Mac Miller, and people are praising her honesty. However, some have called out the colouring of Ariana's skin on the August issue cover.

People are accusing Ariana Grande of putting on a "blaccent"

In the photo, Ariana is reclining on the beach in a cute black dress with Toulouse on her lap. It's a completely different look for the 'Monopoly' singer, who swapped her trademark sky-high ponytail for an enormous black hat.

Of course, Ariana looks phenomenal on the cover, but there have been comments about her deep tan. People have accused Vogue of darkening Ariana's skin to make her look black.

Now, this wouldn't be the first time this issue has come up. Over the years, Ariana has grown more and more fond of having a tan and she has been called out in the past for "blackfishing" and trying to look Latina. There has also been backlash against Ari in the past for putting on a "blaccent" during an interview.

People have said that the cover is a 'lil problematic.

However, others jumped to Ariana's defence because… who doesn't love a summer glow?
