'A Very Wicked Halloween' will air Oct 29 at 10/9c on NBC with Ariana performing one of Elphaba's BIGGEST songs on the soundtrack.

Ariana Grande has understandably taken a step back from the limelight recently. She's cancelled appearances on TV shows for personal reasons and has pushed her Sweetener tour back but it looks like we're about to be blessed with one HELL of a performance from her at the end of the month.

Ariana will be performing as part of 'A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway', a special televised event on NBC paying tribute to the iconic musical. The show will feature musicians (Penatonix included), actors, Wicked's current Broadway cast and of course, the unforgettable Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth, who originated the roles of Elphaba and Glinda on Broadway.

Yesterday (Oct 16), Ari took to Twitter to share at least one of the songs she'll be performing on the night and it's an absolute BANGER.

Alongside a shot of the lyrics of one of Elphaba's biggest songs, 'The Wizard And I', Ariana wrote: "honored to be included in this celebration of 15 years of my favorite musical of all time. wouldn’t miss it for the whole universe #wicked15"

The choice of song is perfect for Ariana because, as it turns out, playing Elphaba has long been a "dream" of hers. “I would do it tomorrow," she said about taking on the role of the green witch during an episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series in 2016. "I’d cancel my whole sh*t. That’s my dream.”

In fact, she already performed the song back in the day - and NAILED it.

We're not sure if Ariana will be taking on any more of the musical's iconic numbers just yet but if she feels the power of Elphaba surge through her enough to chuck us her own version rendition of 'No Good Deed', we'll be forever grateful. Please and thank you in advance x
