Following a monumental year both professionally and personally, Ariana Grande has been named Billboard's Woman of The Year. The 25-year-old singer accepted her award with an emotional speech and acknowledgment that it had been one of the "best years of [her] career and one of the worst of [her] life".

Fans are relating particularly hard to the moment Ariana got emotional before reigning herself back in.

"If you're someone out there who has no idea what this next chapter is gonna bring, you're not alone in that," Ariana said, before getting visibly emotional. "And, um, ew. I'm not gonna cry. That's really stupid. Sorry, I have to pull back. I have to stop that immediately. That's annoying. I'm not gonna cry. That's really annoying."

The moment during Ariana's Billboard 'Woman of The Year' speech where she became visibly emotional has fans in their feelings, too.

Ariana's promise to give herself the love and forgiveness she'd "given away so frivolously and easily to men" in the past was also a big ol' mood.

"I look forward to hopefully learning to give some of the love and forgiveness that I've given away so frivolously and easily to men, in the past, to myself hopefully, this year."

Ariana also gave an equally heartfelt performance of "thank u, next at the ceremony"
