UPDATE: Beyoncé's Netflix documentary 'Homecoming' has been confirmed – and there's even a trailer!!!

A new Beyoncé project called 'Homecoming' is coming on April 17 and the countdown is ON. An Us Weekly report claimed that the "Hold Up" singer would be releasing a documentary about her history-making Coachella performance last year and Netflix have just confirmed it by dropping the trailer.

If you need a little refresher, Beyoncé totally killed Coachella (actually, it's Beychella now). Not only did she perform 26 songs, she brought Destiny's Child onstage and made history as the first black woman to headline the music festival.

Now Netflix is giving us mere mortals backstage passes to the show and additional exclusive content. Before the trailer dropped, Netflix account @strongblacklead posted a pic of a yellow square on Twitter, which only had the words "Homecoming, April 17, Netflix" on it. Hmm…

Let's examine the evidence, shall we. Earlier this year, Bey announced the Homecoming Scholars Award Program through her BeyGood initiative. The font on the Homecoming announcement is also suspiciously similar to the lettering of Beyoncé's other logos on her Coachella merch. And, Queen Bey now has a Homecoming page on her official website.

The Beyhive were on full sleuth mode and figured out that the Beyoncé doc just had to be coming.

Netflix have now confirmed it's happening with a trailer featuring adorable cameos from her children Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir. It's safe to say the Beyhive are PUMPED.
