Billie Eilish discussed everything from fame to criticisms of her music in a new Vanity Fair interview.

Billie Eilish's 'Same Interview, The Third Year' with Vanity Fair is here and she talks about Drake, fame and a fan choking her.

One of Billie Eilish's most popular interviews is Vanity Fair's 'Same Interview, One Year Apart'. The video sees Billie answer a list of questions when she was 15-years-old and then the same list again when she was 16-years-old. It then compares how her responses have changed within a year's time.

The interview is at times hilarious, but extremely emotional, as Billie gets candid about the pitfalls of being a celebrity and how growing up has changed her. It currently has over 58 million views.

Now Billie has done it a third time another year later and it's iconic, but most importantly, she seems a lot happier.

In the interview, Billie is asked again about the most famous person who follows her and she reveals that it's now Drake. In the video, she says that she's friends with Drake and that they text each other often. She says: "Drake is like the nicest dude I've ever spoken to. I mean, I've only like texted him, but he's so nice. Like, he does not need to be nice, you know what I mean? He's at a level in his life where he doesn't need to be nice, but he is, you know?"

Billie then is asked: "How often do you get recognised in public?" In 2018, she said: "I might be safe if I go to Trader Joe's." In 2019, she says: "Nope. Not safe. I tried it... The reason it affected me so much last year is because all I wanted to do was go out. I don't even think about going out anymore." She then explains: "I like this life that I have. I like being famous. It's very weird, but it's very cool." She also adds: "I'm very grateful for it."

Billie also opens up about scary fan experiences. "I did this show last week where I went down into the crowd and somebody grabbed my hand and yanked me so hard and I had two security guards try to pull me away and it took a minute to do it," she says. "And then when they finally let go I fell. And then somebody stole my ring, somebody grabbed my hand and pulled my ring off, stole it."

She also revealed that a fan choked her.

Elsewhere, Billie defends her singing voice. When asked what are some criticisms of her music, she replies: "The thing is the ones that annoy me are the ones that are pretty true. Like my voice is really soft and it's not belty and shit... and that people think that I whisper in all my songs. And like, I do in a couple songs, but I feel like people just say that when they've heard one fucking song."

She then continues: "Like, listen to 'wish you were gay'. That bitch a belting. And like, my belt is not even close to a fucking Adele belt. Adele is like a literal God, but it's just different. Like, you don't have to be shouting to be good at singing."

Billie also says that the biggest rumour about her has gone from her allegedly being pregnant in 2018 to her apparently selling her soul to Satan in 2019.
