Dying to see Billie Eilish at one of her sold-out tour dates? Her collaboration with Global Citizen might make that a possibility.

In the past, Billie Eilish has used her massive platform to advocate for animal rights and environmental causes. The singer backed Greta Thurberg's climate action movement in the summer and has even said that people who wear mink "disgust" her. Now, the superstar is giving her fans a chance to help protect the planet in exchange for concert tickets to some of her sold-out shows.

In a video posted to her Twitter account, Billie announced that she has teamed up with Global Citizen – an organisation dedicated to spreading awareness about extreme poverty and environmental issues.

"Hey guys, this is Billie," she said. "I did not want you guys to have to buy tickets from scalpers and I know you all still really want to come to the shows. So, I teamed up with a great organisation called Global Citizen to help come up with a way to earn tickets to the WHERE DO WE GO tour."

Billie urged her fans to sign up on the organisation's website in order to "tackle these [environmental] challenges and create a more sustainable world".

Those interested can sign up on the Global Citizen website and enter drawings to win Billie Eilish tickets by earning points. These points can be earned by doing things like tweeting climate action posts, taking quizzes and signing petitions.

This is only the latest Billie Eilish collaboration aimed at tackling the most important environmental and humanitarian issues of the day.

Earlier this year, Billie announced that she was getting help from a company called Reverb in order to make her tour more sustainable and eco-friendly. Speaking to Jimmy Fallon, Billie detailed how a specialist from the company would help make her tour "as green as possible".

"There’s no plastic straws allowed, the fans are going to bring their own water bottles, there’s going to be recycle cans everywhere, because it’s like, if something’s recyclable, it doesn’t matter unless there’s a recycle bin," she told Fallon.

Fans have been supportive of Billie's stance on climate action and humanitarian issues.

"I love how she's trying to help bring awareness to climate and economical [sic] problems while also giving us the chance to get tickets to see her. Honestly so sweet I can't," tweeted one fan.

For anyone who has been wanting to see Billie and has perhaps had trouble securing tickets, her Global Citizen initiative might be the way to go.
