Billie Eilish claps back at trolls who say she should "dress normal" to be "hotter"

Billie is over people criticising her style and telling her to "dress normal". In a new Instagram post, she addressed trolls talking about how "hot" she could be if she changed her style.
Billie Eilish is probably the most popular 17-year-old on the planet. She has people from every age group hooked on her music and loads of fans emulating her distinctive style. Billie has explained the perfectly logical reason she wears baggy clothing and even addressed some of the controversial comments made about her figure, following a viral snap of Billie Eilish wearing a tank top.

It seems like Billie is always having to defend what she looks like and what she wears, including speaking up for herself against some pretty unfair beauty and style standards.
This week (16 Sept), Billie responded to trolls who have said she'd be a lot "hotter" if only she dressed "normal".
Billie posted a photo of herself coming out of a trailer and wearing an ankle boot for a recent injury. In the photo, she's also wearing a matching t shirt and trouser set covered in a colourful graffiti print.
"if only i dressed normal id be so much hotter yeah yeah come up with a better comment im tired of that one [sic]," read the photo's caption.
Billie's style is obviously part of what makes her a unique artist. She is also very young and still growing into that style. Expecting her to dress like other pop stars or to dress "hot" or "normal" adds a level of unneeded pressure to the young singer's life.
Billie has spoken out in the past about how clothing shouldn't be used to judge or shame young women.
Speaking to Pharrell Williams for V, Billie said that she doesn't endorse people complimenting her style if it's for the purpose of putting other women down.
She said: "I have always supported and fucked with and just loved when a woman or a man or anyone in the world feels comfortable in their skin, their body, to show just whatever they want."
