Yikes! Play with Cardi B if you really want to…

Cardi B just discovered someone is posing as her for an email scam and she's pretty pissed. A fan alerted the "Money" rapper, letting her know that someone is claiming to be raising money for children with autism under her name.

The email, which is sent from an email address with Cardi's name in it, begins by thanking the fan for their continued support. "Thanks you for the love and support you showered on me, its been a wonderful year having fans like solidly behind me, this is my way off saying thank you to the people that have brought me this far," it read.

It went on to explain that Cardi is looking to raise a whopping $30 million for autism research. It continued: "We are not making it compulsory on a specific amount from every one but we want something reasonable from everyone. We will want to know what your donation will be…"

The fan immediately raised the alarm on the suspicious email, which was littered with typos and punctuation errors. Cardi B then exposed the trickster on Instagram, calling them out on her page.

"Thanks @iamdeadeye59 for putting me on!" she wrote. "THIS SHIT IS FAKE ! FAKE DONATION SHIT! Ya wild disgusting taking advantage of real kind people who wanna make a change but ya scamming! If it don't come from my mouth don’t believe it!"

Sadly, this isn't the first scam to hit a celeb in recent weeks. Last week, it was revealed that a YouTube scam that lures users to click on links by impersonating famous YouTubers has affected more than 70,000 people.
