Can the music industry just stop being so damn problematic for one sec?

People are calling out Drake after footage of him kissing and groping a 17-year-old girl has been unearthed.

In the video, which was reportedly taken at one of his performances in Colorado back in 2010, Drake appears to pull a young woman from the audience up on stage with him. He grabs her for a dance, gives her a shoulder massage, and begins planting kisses on her neck. The "In My Feelings" rapper then looks like he is reaching over to touch her boobs, before breaking away because he'd get in "trouble". Drake – who would have been about 24 at the time – then asks how old she is, leading her to reveals she's only 17.

According to the Guardian, the age of consent in Colorado is 17, but people are still understandably concerned by the video.

"I can't go to jail yet, man! 17?" he joked. "Why do you look like that? You thick...look at all this." He then goes on to say, "Well look, I had fun. I don't know whether I should feel guilty or not, but I had fun. I like the way your breasts feel against my chest. I just want to thank you." So, so wrong on many levels without her being underage.

Now you'd think he'd probably want to stop there, but no. He puts down the mic, grabs her hands to kiss them, and then kisses her cheeks, forehead, and lips before sending her on her merry way.

Obviously, people had thoughts about the video and Drake was slaughtered on Twitter.

Now, this wouldn't be the first time Drake has been pulled up on his "inappropriate" behaviour with young women.

Last year, people found it creepy that he was texting Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown, 14, "about boys", although Millie did come to Drake's defence saying: "Why you gotta make a lovely friendship a headline? U guys are weird" and then "I'm very blessed to have amazing people in my life. U don't get to decide that for me".

Drake has yet to respond to the new video. We'll update this story as soon as he does.
