Drake fans think he addresses Millie Bobby Brown and Billie Eilish controversy in When to Say When lyrics

On Saturday (29 Feb), Drake unexpectedly dropped two new songs, 'When To Say When' and 'Chicago Freestyle'.

Drake fans believe that he's addressing the controversy surrounding his relationship with singer Billie Eilish and Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown in his new song.

Both Millie, 16, and Billie, 18, have mentioned that they have received text messages from Drake. Because of their ages (Millie was 14 and Billie was 17 at the time) people thought it was "creepy" for a man in his 30s to be messaging them. However, both defended their relationships with Drake and insisted it wasn't creepy or inappropriate.

In 'When To Say When', the rapper includes a line about singer Michael Jackson, which people think is referencing the situation with Billie and Millie. The lyric in question, reads: "Michael Jackson shit, but the palace is not for kids / Still women sayin' it's childish the way we live."

Now Michael Jackson, who passed away in 2009, famously lived and owned the Neverland Ranch in California, which was also a theme park. Michael was charged with seven counts of molesting a minor at the estate in 2003. But he was acquitted on all charges in 2005. In 2019, Michael was hit with even more sexual abuse allegations after the release of documentary Leaving Neverland. So, basically Drake is saying his house is not for children.

People thought Drake must be using the lyric to address the backlash he received for having friendships deemed to be "creepy" with Millie and Billie.

Drake hasn't confirmed if the Michael Jackson lyric is about the whole Billie and Millie controversy, but if he does, we'll be sure to let you know.
