The Chicago-native shows his love for the home team at Wrigley Field!
Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump put his soul-voice to good use on Saturday (Oct 29th), taking on the US National Anthem.
The Chicago Cubs baseball team was playing its first World Series games in 71 years and all the local celebrities were out in force, Patrick being given the honour of belting out "The Star Spangled Banner" at the famous Wrigley Field.
Can we make that shirt part of the official merch on the next tour please?
Patrick chatted beforehand about how he was preparing to join the likes of Lady Gaga, Beyonce and all the other great divas who have sung the anthem at sporting events:
First the World Series - next stop, the Superbowl! They've already got their own shirts ready!
Patrick has been branching out on his own recently, debuting new music on an Incredible Hulk Rollercoaster in Florida as well as continuing his long-standing side career of amateur hat model. Meanwhile, Fall Out Boy drop their new Boys Of Zummer live DVD later this month.
The Chicago Cubs finished Game 5 on Sunday 3-2 up against the Cleveland Indians (tbh, we have no idea what that means but we are told it is quite good).
