In case you needed more proof that Brendon Urie has a heart of gold.

Fans of Halsey will know that the 'Bad At Love' singer definitely has her emo kid/pop punk credentials in order. Like many of us, Halsey grew up listening to the likes of Panic! at The Disco, and even went on to befriend Brendon Urie after she became famous.

In an interview with NME, Halsey recalled one incident from her years as an emo fan that will hit you in your teenage gig-loving heart.

“I remember having this wristband from the pit [at one of the shows] and Brendon Urie being on the edge of the stage and acknowledging me," she told NME. "So I wore that wristband every day. I even covered it with plastic when I showered so it wouldn’t fall off.”

After taking such good care of the wristband, Halsey remembers being "devastated" when, after a physical altercation with a bully, the memento was lost.

Later, she would recount this story to Brendon who somehow managed to make up for it in the best way possible.

“I went back to my dressing room after [a show of mine he came to recently]…and there was a bouquet of flowers and two plastic Panic! At the Disco wristbands, with a little note that said: “This is to replace the one you lost.”

Imagine being this....good. If we were Halsey, we'd never take that wristband off.

The admiration between the pair is mutual. In 2015, Brendon called Halsey an "unbelievable live performer," something her fans will already know to be true.
