Halsey and BTS are in a hilarious “feud" and it’s all thanks to Jimin and Hoseok

Halsey and BTS may be 'Boy With Luv' collaborators but they're currently in a hilarious feud because of Jimin and Hoseok.

Ever since Halsey and BTS first revealed that they would be collaborating, we've been living for all of their interactions. From the 'Boy With Luv' music video and their live performances together to the way in which they gush over each other on social media and in interviews, we're obsessed. However, in and amongst all of the praise and smiles is a very serious (translation: not at all serious) beef which involves Halsey, Jimin and Hoseok (aka J-Hope).

Why do Halsey, Jimin and Hoseok have 'Boy With Luv' beef?

In 'Boy With Luv' one of Halsey's standout lines involves her shouting the phrase "I want it" in the chorus. It's melodramatic, it's camp and it's incredible. Recently, the BTS boys have been caught saying "I want it" and imitating Halsey at concerts in reference to the iconic lyric. Just recently, Jimin and Hoseok did it at their MetLife concert in New Jersey and Halsey was quick to notice the clowning.

Yesterday, Halsey tweeted about the tongue in cheek reference to her and jokingly threatened Jimin and Hoseok about it. She wrote: "just landed in New York. somebody tell jimin and hoseok to hide before I find them and box them for clowning me onstage at MetLife. my own home state. the audacity." Halsey is indeed from New Jersey, making the burn of Hoseok and Jimin's clowning even more significant.

A fan then responded saying: "miss halsey i admire your grit but must i remind you that you are... tiny...." However, Halsey wasn't in any way deterred. She replied: "so is jimin. let’s do it baby I know the law." She even tweeted a gif of her boxing from the 'Strangers' video. However, when a fan showed her a video of Hoseok singing 'Nightmare', she tweeted: "he is safe. this is adorable".

I'm crying. Halsey actually performed with BTS that evening at an event hosted by iHeartRadio with LiveXLive. She also took part in an interview in which Elvis Duran asked her "so Halsey what kind of energy do you get when you're around BTS" and she replied: "they're very funny. lot's of jokes". Immediately, the audience began saying "I want it" in unison and RM joined in. Halsey then laughed and said "wow".

In other words, it looks as though Halsey can't escape being clowned by BTS and "I want it" will stick with her forever. That being said, there are no actual hard feelings between her and the band. It's all just jokes and love. Shortly after the event, Hasley shared a set of adorable photos with the boys with the caption: "the happiest". Our hearts.

Here's hoping that the two acts collaborate again. Their relationship is so precious.
