Thank god.

Halsey and The Chainsmokers have FINALLY been knocked off the top of the Billboard 100 and no one is more relieved than Halsey herself.

All good things must come to end and after a massive 12 weeks at no.1, 'Closer' was knocked off the top by 'Black Beatles' by Rae Sremmurd. Halsey said what everyone else was probably thinking on her Twitter this morning:

As much as we love you Halsey, we'd have to agree! The song was released way back on the 29th July and rose to the no.1 spot on the 3rd September. That's a long ass time to be sitting on the throne. Too long. What we need now is some new Halsey music, amirite? Well apparently it's on it's way soon.

'Black Beatles', as you probably know by now, is the go-to song choice for the Mannequin Challange which has gone viral in the few weeks (despite not actually featuring on the original video). It's the first number no.1 single for Rae Sremmurd (brother Khalif "Swae Lee" Brown and Aaquil "Slim Jxmmi" Brown), and it's taken from their second album Sremmlife 2.

So, are you totally sick of 'Closer'?
