Halsey Just Shut Down Rumours She’s Dating Machine Gun Kelly With ONE Tweet

Halsey just set the record straight... and she wants you to mind your damn business.

If you've been on the internet at all in the past week, you may have heard that Halsey and G-Eazy are no longer a couple.

The pair who sang together on the track 'Him & I', had been together for almost one year and are now "taking time apart", according to the statement Halsey released on Instagram. G-Eazy is yet to respond to the break up.

Since the news broke, Twitter has been quick to pass judgement on the whole situation and in one instance, even called Halsey out for "hanging out" with her ex-boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly so soon after the break up. But the whole thing just turned into a massive lesson in "don't believe everything you see or read on the internet."

Halsey Breaks Down In Tears During Concert Following G-Eazy Split

A picture of Halsey and Machine Gun Kelly on the beach resurfaced a few days ago after two quote tweets went viral but the original tweet was posted by PopCrave in 2017. The same image of Halsey and MGK was posted his Instagram account when they were dating in 2017.

Halsey called out the people who were sharing the picture in the hopes of shaming her after her recent breakup. She explained that she is currently on tour, and alone. And not at the beach with Machine Gun Kelly.

She also later addressed the viral tweet directly and called out those who were sharing it.

So, what did we learn today children? 1) Always check the time stamps before you try and drag, and 2) mind ya own damn business.
