Jonas Brothers reveal John Mayer ripped off 'Lovebug' with one of his songs

Did you know? John Mayer's 'Walt Grace' was copied from Jonas Brothers' 'Lovebug'...
In case you missed it, the Jonas Brothers made an appearance on First We Feast's Hot Ones show recently and they dished out some honest answers to a few of the most ~burning~ Jonas Brothers questions.
In between sweating, crying and BURNING UP over spicy chicken wings, Kevin, Joe and Nick set the record straight on a number of topics, including whether or not Joe was responsible for the Game of Thrones Starbucks cup (he was not) and how John Mayer once stole one of their songs.
Yes. Really. The song in question, that John Mayer copied? The absolute bop and easily one of the Top 3 JoBros track of all time, 'Lovebug'.
When asked about something John said previously on show about the similar sounding songs that dominate radio, Nick said: “He did kinda copy a song of ours. Little known fact. Look it up on YouTube."
“He came to us at the Grammys years ago and he said, ‘I love your song Lovebug'. Two years later he released a song and the chorus is literally the same with different lyrics."
Listen to Nick tell the story around the 2 minute mark in the video below:
The song that Mayer copied the chorus of 'Lovebug' for is 'Walt Grace’s Submarine Test, January 1967' from 2012. And when Nick said it was literally the same, he was not lying.
Listen to the two songs below, and see what you think...
IT'S! THE! SAME! Why is this brand new information!? How come no one ever said anything before?
The good news? Nick was incredibly flattered that John copied the song. So there's no hard feelings and besides, if you're gonna copy one Jonas Brothers song, it may as well be one of the best ones, right?
John Mayer is not only a thief but also a man of taste, because 'Lovebug' is THAT bitch. A song. An anthem. An absolute bop.
