Bieber strikes again!

Oh Justin, what are we to do with you.

As you’re probably aware, Justin Bieber has a contentious relationship with his fans. More specifically, he doesn’t want anything to do with them.

There was the announcement that he won’t be doing anymore meet and greets with fans because he finds them ‘depressing’, and then there was the episode where he threw a gift from a fan out of a car (which, to be fair, was also launched into the car by said fan).

Justin ‘leave me alone’ Bieber has struck again during a show last week in Atlantic City. Watch the video below:

As NME reports, a fan attempted to throw what looks like a hat on stage as a gift to Justin. Unfortunately, he throws it back and then lays into the fan. It’s pretty car crash viewing, if we’re honest.

On the video, Bieber says, “Take this moment to listen and try not to give me a hat or whatever you’re trying to throw onto the stage right now, because I probably don’t want that shit."

The crowd cheer in support of Bieber, before he adds, “Sorry, that was mean. Sorry for throwing your hat, but you ruined the moment.”

In previous posts we’ve defended Justin, as he cited mental health reasons for feeling unable to interact with fans. His first priority should always be his health and so setting boundaries to what you can and cannot tolerate is important.

But some people think this is a step too far. I mean, it's just a hat. Was it really that distracting? Calling out a (probably young) fan in front of those thousands of people, and then describing it as “shit”, is harsh.  What if the fan spent hours making something personalized? Sure, it might still look shit, but it’s a nice gesture nonetheless lol.

Having said that, here’s a little advice: maybe throw the hats/gifts in between songs next time? Just a thought.

Fan reactions were mixed. A lot of people found it funny, while others thought it was a bit savage.

Is this more LOL or mean? Let us know in the comments.
