Justin and Skrillex probably, maybe, might have just STOLEN from another artist.
When Justin Bieber released the undeniable banger - and reputation salvaging bop - "Sorry" near the end of 2015, we bet he didn't plan on being sued by another artist for copyright infringement.
But guess what... IT JUST HAPPENED! And now he might actually have to apologise for saying sorry!

According to TMZ, the Skrillex produced song has come under fire from indie pop artist Winter Hinterland (Casey Dienel). She claims that Biebs' production team had stolen the opening vocal loop of her 2014 song, "Ring The Bell". And when you listen to it, you'll be hard pressed to hear anything OTHER than that iconic riff that features through "Sorry" (with a couple of extra notes tacked onto the end).
The legal complaint, which was obtained by EW reads that, "The identical and/or striking similarity of ‘Sorry’ to Plaintiff’s song ‘Ring the Bell’ surpasses the realm of generic coincidence and independent creation.”

Basically, they're saying that there's no WAY this could be a case of mysterious coincidence. Dienel is said to have initially asked Justin to stop using the riff in production but he and his team ignored it. And now she wants her damn song back!
If she wins, there could be a MASSIVE pay out. Remember when Pharrell and Robin Thicke had to pay around $7m back to Marvin Gaye's estate over the copyright issue surrounding Blurred Lines? Yikes!
