We've got all the deets...

Mark the date in your diaries little monsters: Lady Gaga will be premiering the first single from #LG5, her long-awaited follow up to ARTPOP (2013) this week and we. can't. cope. right. now.

Gaga's been pretty busy since ARTPOP. There's been a jazz album with Tony Bennett, a cover of Chic's "I Want Your Love" for a Tom Ford campaign as well as the Oscar nominated, Diane Warren-written ballad 'Til It Happens To You', for the documentary The Hunting Ground. And, obviously, her Golden Globe-winning performance in American Horror Story.

But what about the elusive #LG5? We've been on a sleuth and got all the details for ya.

She's working with Mark Ronson.

You remember him, right? Before he made relentlessly cheery music that will give you a headache, he was a hip-hop DJ in New York turned producer extraordinaire, most notably producing Amy Winehouse's legendary Back To Black album.

In an interview with Zane Lowe, Ronson said of working with Mother Monster, "I can’t wait until you can hear it because the music speaks for itself — some of my favourite musicians of all time are working on it."

Ronson and Gaga have collaborated before, as far back as 2009, on Wale's "Chillin'" which Gaga was a guest vocalist on. Ronson's background in soul, jazz and funk could be an interesting mix with Gaga - but what about those pop bangers we all love?

Meet your new best friend: producer BloodPop.

Formally known as Blood Diamonds, the 26-year-old producer already has a long list of credits including Justin Bieber's 'Sorry', Grimes' 'Go' and large swaths of Madonna's tragically underrated Rebel Heart album. Hopefully his inclusion on LG5 should quell any fears Ronson will take Gaga in a 'Uptown Funk' direction. *shudders*

And the return of a familiar face, RedOne.

We wear our sunglasses at night #LG5

Last year, Gaga posted this picture of herself back in the studio with RedOne, with whom she wrote 'Just Dance', 'Poker Face' and 'Bad Romance'. As you can see, they are wearing sunglasses at night which obviously = vibes.

In an interview with The National, RedOne said, "We took a little break from each other and now it feels like we are in a good place, both of us. She did her thing, I did my thing, and it feels like we’re back on track together." Yaaaassss!

There might be one of two country songs...

If these photos of Gaga arriving to the recording studio are anything to go by, we should all be prepared for at least two or three references to 'going to the rodeo' on LG5. Sound farfetched? Well, remember when she went trap on 'Jewels N' Drugs'? Exactly. Expect the unexpected..

Similarly, this could be a Springsteen moment. We'd kinda be down for that. Either way, expect guitars. Lots of them.

'Perfect Illusion' is the first single and it's will probably blow your balls off.

Gaga has been feeding her little monsters with info about the single on her Twitter. The first single is 'Perfect Illusion and it's due this Friday (9 Sept). It's got Ronson and BloodPop on it as well as Kevin Parker from Tame Impala. That's four geniuses on one track. It's a good start...

Then there are the lyrics, which she teased in this image:

"I don't need eyes to see / I felt you touching me / high like amphetamine / maybe you're just a dream"

Slay.

Oh, and here's the artwork.

Holy fuck.

Fans are going HAM over it.

This video was actually taken in the PopBuzz office this morning.

So there you have it. Are ya'll excited?
