Little Mix - Woman Like Me (Lyric Video) ft. Nicki Minaj

Little Mix are back and they are not messing around this era. After topping the charts and winning multiple awards with their last record Glory Days, the 'Shout Out to My Ex' hitmakers took some time off to rest on work on new music. They released a hit Cheat Codes collaboration 'Only You' over the summer and now they are finally ready to give us the first taste of their highly anticipated fifth album (#LM5IsComing).

On Thursday, Little Mix shared a video of them performing an acapella snippet of a song on social media and now they have not only confirmed that it's their new single ('Woman Like Me') but they've also revealed that it features Nicki Minaj. Yes. It is finally happening. After years of saying that they would like to collaborate with Nicki, the girls really have a track together and it's already inspired the funniest memes.

Little Mix and Nicki filmed the 'Woman Like Me' music video last week and to announce the song they released its artwork and then unveiled a teaser of the single with the girls on set of its upcoming visual. The camera focuses on each of the girls in various black outfits before panning out and confirming that 'Woman Like Me' is dropping October 12th. Judging by the clip, the girls have a hit on their hands.

It's too early to tell but it sounds like a cross between 'Side to Side' and 'Can't Remember to Forget You'. It's also been co-written by Jess Glynne and Ed Sheeran, so we know that it's going to be a bop. Unsurprisingly fans are shook by the news. In fact, people are so excited that they've already transformed the teaser and art into an array of hilarious memes. Here are just a few of them.

Some fans are comparing the teaser to other iconic works of pop culture.

We need Little Mix to guest star in AHS immediately.

Others are joking about the fact that Nicki Minaj may need to censor herself on the new single.

Could LM5 mark the birth of explicit mix?

Then there are fans who are getting confused about the release date.

An easy mistake.

One or two people are shocked by how different Nicki looks in the teaser.

A few are getting emotional about the fact that Little Mix spoke this collaboration into existence.

The girl group have said that they want to work with Nicki for years.

Then there are those who are losing it over the fact that Little Mix sang a Nicki song in their first X Factor live performance.

Nicki even liked this tweet.

....praising the artwork...

We see no lies.

...and bringing up Tulisa.

We do not tolerate any disrespect to the N-Dubz queen who helped lead Little Mix to X Factor victory.

Barbz are imagining Nicki's verse already.

We can't.

Ultimately people are just excited though.

The drought is over.

And we are too.

Bring on October 12th!
