David Rumsey was arrested during Miley Cyrus' recent iHeartRadio festival set.

Miley Cyrus' stalker David Rumsey has been arrested. The 42-year-old man was caught at the 2019 iHeartRadio festival.

According to TMZ, Miley Cyrus' bodyguards spotted David Rumsey in the audience of Miley's iHeartRadio performance. Her security team then alerted the police, who immediately escorted David out of the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and arrested him to ensure the safety of Miley and concertgoers. David is currently being held in custody at the Clark County Jail.

David's arrest comes in the wake of him making repeated alarming threats against Miley on social media.

TMZ claims that David told Miley's team it's "his life's mission to impregnate Miley". He also allegedly said that he wants "to raise Michael Jackson and Prince from the dead so they could party with him and Miley". Miley's team were apparently on the lookout for David as soon as they arrived at the venue because David tweeted that he would be attending.

Ahead of Miley's performance, David posted a selfie on Twitter with the caption: "@MileyCyrus here waiting for your concert. I hope we can meet up before the concert. I'll get a room where ever you want. I just did motel 6 until you get here. I figure you know Vegas and where the best hotels to stay."

David's entire Twitter account is filled with bizarre, threatening tweets about Miley. He says that he is "sorry for hurting" her and wants to spend "1on1time" with her.

Now that David has been arrested, we hope that Miley feels safe. Our thoughts are with her and her team.
