Miley Cyrus just cut her hair exactly like Hannah Montana amid reboot rumours

Miley Cyrus appears to hint that a Hannah Montana reboot is in the works

Earlier this week, Miley Cyrus appeared to hint at a Hannah Montana reboot on Instagram. Eagle-eyed fans of Miley and her beloved alter-ego noticed that a brand new Hannah Montana account had appeared on Instagram with the handle @hannahmontana. Not only that but Miley followed the account and tagged it in various posts. Now Miley has stoked the rumours further by bringing back her Hannah Montana hair and performing a few of her hits.

Is Hannah Montana coming back?

Taking to Instagram stories yesterday, Miley shared a video of herself at a hair salon and, shortly after, revealed to her fans that she had gotten a new hairstyle in the style of Hannah herself. The iconic blonde bangs are back. Not only that but Miley then said: "You know guys it was so hard going back and forth that I decided I'll just be Hannah forever." OMG. She then added, in reference to the rumours,"She was getting a lot of press this week thanks to me".

Of course, it's worth taking everything Miley says with a grain of salt, but there is a chance that "I'll just be Hannah forever" is a tease that a reboot of some sort is happening.

Miley then posted videos of her singing along to 'Best of Both Worlds' and 'Nobody's Perfect' in the car. Ever the joker, Miley also said: "The best of both worlds like when you take an upper and a downer at the same time. Like if you take a little Molly and smoke a joint."

How does she look exactly the same?!

Obviously, we doubt Disney would be too happy to see Hannah Montana endorsing drugs, however funny it is. Nevertheless, it does seem odd that there are now multiple pieces of evidence hinting at a Hannah Montana comeback of sorts so we are not ruling anything out just yet. Whatever is happening, we're just excited to see Miley embrace her roots again.
