FYI, Miley Cyrus is not pregnant.

We wouldn't ask or speculate if a random woman in the street was pregnant (well, lets hope not…) or just bloated, so why do we hound celebrities? Miley Cyrus has just denied she's expecting a baby with her husband Liam Hemsworth, following reports she was carrying a little girl.

"Miley's over the moon because she's carrying Liam's baby…," an "insider" reportedly told OK! Australia. "It's a girl, which is what [they] hoped for. He called his brothers and parents. [Miley] got him to Skype call her family, too. Her mum was crying."

The magazine went on to claim that the "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" singer wanted to raise her first child (who they apparently planned on naming Cassidy!?) in Liam's native Australia, specifically Byron Bay, where his brother Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky live.

The happy "news" spread like wildfire, especially because Miley and Liam had just made it down the aisle in December. Paparazzi pics were then used to show "evidence" of said pregnancy. Cue a photo of Miley in a loose-fitting shirt at a side angle. Can a girl not just be bloated, or be taken by a gust of wind in peace?!

One fan posted about the pregnancy, asking: "Miley, please let us know if this is true or not?" She replied: "Bull shit." Miley then addressed the claims on Twitter, referencing the record-breaking egg, which recently dethroned Kylie Jenner and spawned loads of egg memes.

"I'm not 'Egg-xpecting' but it's 'Egg-celent' to hear everyone is so 'Happy For Us,'" Miley tweeted. "We're happy for us too! 'Egg-cited' for this next chapter in our lives... Now, can everyone leave me alone and go back to staring at an egg." And that's that on that.

This isn't the first time it's happened with Miley either. The poor girl was hit with pregnancy speculation after posting a photo following Thanksgiving Dinner – she literally can't catch a break.

Sure, as a huge public figure with a lot of fans, speculation and curiosity about Miley's private life is to be expected. But ultimately, a woman's pregnancy is NEVER any of our business. Pregnant women have the right to share their baby news whenever and however they want. And if they don't feel like telling anyone? It's their choice and should be respected.
