"It's a modern mullet which is very cool but it's something you probably aren't even well-versed in."
Miley Cyrus is always changing up her look but her latest might be one of her most controversial yet. Prepare yourself because the 'Mother's Daughter' singer has a mullet now – just like Billie Eilish.

It all started with a birthday haircut from her mother Tish Cyrus on Instagram. Tish hacked off a few inches of Miley's hair in her bathroom, giving her a super blunt cut. But that didn't last long. It appears Miley has since had even more of her tresses chopped off by legendary hairdresser Sally Hershberger, famous for creating Meg Ryan's shaggy cut.
Miley shared a photo of her new 'do on her Instagram Story. In the image, Miley's hair now sits on her shoulders and her fringe is basically covering her face. The choppy style was also kept the colour super blonde.
Although Miley appeared to be working her new look, it doesn't look like everyone was a fan. Apparently, fans were criticising her hair on Instagram which forced Sally to step in.
She said: "First of all if you knew anything about hair it's the position she's in that's why it looks that way, it's 100% even and she also had it straightened so it's more severe which I actually like that being said chill out and know it's a modern mullet which is very cool but it's something you probably aren't even well-versed in sorry but not sorry." WELL.
