Could this cryptic Twitter announcement be hinting at new music or just, ya know, nothing?

Bob Bryar, the former My Chemical Romance drummer who has long been absent from the public eye, is back.

Bob tweeted for the first time since 2015 this week, seemingly teasing some kind of new project on the way soon:

Ok, ok, so he could just be about to flood your timeline with cat GIFs but either way we are intrigued. Why would you start tweeting again after two years away unless you had some kind of reason? (Ok, yes, we might be overthinking this one).

Bob joined My Chemical Romance back in 2004 just after the release of Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. He later left the band in 2010, just prior to the release of the Danger Days album.

So, is Bob ready to get back into the music game at last? We'll find out soon. Luckily for the MCR fandom, we don't have a habit of getting our hopes up over a potential announcement only to have them shattered days later...oh wait.
