Are My Chemical Romance coming back? Well, according to Joe Jonas, he says they were rehearsing next to the Jonas Brothers recently...

Rumours of a My Chemical Romance reunion have been circling for a few years now. Back in 2016, fans thought they had it in the bag on the 10th anniversary of The Black Parade album - but that false alarm turned out to be a reissue of the iconic record.

June 2019 marks 15 years since the band released Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. So far, there's been no signs of a reissue, or even a one-off reunion to celebrate the anniversary... but Joe Jonas might have some tea that says otherwise and it will have you shaking.

In a recent interview with KISS FM, Joe claimed that an MCR reunion might be imminent, as he apparently heard that they were rehearsing next to the Jonas Brothers recently.

"I’ve got some dirt," Joe revealed. "My Chemical Romance were apparently rehearsing next to us in New York recently, which — I thought they broke up, so…that’s the gossip!"

What?! MCR? Could it be? Joseph Adam Jonas, you better not be lying to us!

So, are they getting back together? Is there any truth to these rumours? Fans don't think it's likely... mainly because everyone is busy with their own stuff.

Of course, Gerard Way is busy working on his The Umbrella Academy comic series and Frank Iero is currently on tour with his band The Future Violents.

Warped Tour organiser Kevin Lyman revealed on Twitter to a fan earlier this year that he tried to make an MCR reunion happen at the festival for the event’s 25th and final year.

Way has also recently spoken about how the band always get offers to reunite, but confirmed that it likely won't happen. "We definitely get offers regularly to reunite – it’s a constant thing." Way told The Guardian. "It’s flattering, it’s really nice of people. I miss playing with the guys, but I don’t think so…"

He did go on to say that there could someday be new music, but that'll be it. No tour. No performance. Just a song drop. “I think if we ever did MCR again, we wouldn’t be in that machine any more,” Way says. “It would literally just be like: ‘Here’s a new piece of music, we’re putting this out and that’s it, this is not up for debate.’”

Who knows what Joe saw, or heard through the grapevine but as exciting as it sounds, don't hold your breath.
