MCR will kick off their rescheduled reunion tour on 8 September 2021 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

At long last, some good news for MCR fans! My Chemical Romance have announced their rescheduled tour dates for 2021.

This year, the emo legends were set to reunite and tour across North America. However, the coronavirus pandemic led to the concerts being cancelled for the time being.

But, never ones to let the fandom down, MCR announced new tour dates on Instagram alongside a statement, which read: "As a band, we are deeply aware of the profound problems and crucial issues the world is facing right now. These issues are all life-changing, and we have them in the forefront of our minds on a regular basis. All of our focus should be on making the world better in every way we can.

"We would never want to distract from the challenges we are facing right now, but we feel it is the right thing to let people know that we have rescheduled our shows, so that we can offer people a refund on tickets in these difficult financial times.⁣ ⁣

"All tickets will be honored for the new dates. If you are unable to attend, refunds are available at your point of purchase."

They continued: "It is a long time away, and there is so much for all of us to do to make the world a better place in the interim. We cannot wait to play for you. Take care of each other and yourselves. We will see you soon."

Don't worry, the MCR guys won't leave the UK out of the action (phew). The band had booked five UK shows in 2020, including three at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes. Thankfully, My Chemical Romance confirmed that all five UK shows have been rearranged for June 2021.

MCR will play at the Eden Project in St Austell, Cornwall on June 15, Stadium MK, Milton Keynes on June 17, 19 and 20. They'll also be doing a set at Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin, on June 22.

Ah, what a good time to be an emo.
