Nicki Minaj is being criticised for using the Black Girl Tragic hashtag to insult black women

Nicki Minaj only just came face-to-face with former rapper Joe Budden in a heated row on her Beats 1 show, Queen Radio. However, now she's catching heat from Twitter too. The 'Megatron' rapper is being criticised for her use of the hashtag Black Girl Tragic, which was created to find missing women of colour.

It all started when Nicki posted a photo with her boyfriend, Kenneth Petty. Nicki recently revealed they're due to get hitched within the next 80 days, but a lot of her fans have a problem with her boo because of his past criminal convictions.

In the photo, Nicki is straddling Kenneth in a thong whilst he's grabbing her butt. People called out the suggestive image and their relationship, which caused Nicki to spring into attack mode in the comment section, calling some users "ugly".

She captioned the image: "S/O to #BlackGirlTragic I mean black girl magic. Never forget there r 7 billion ppl in the world but u choose to interrupt ur important life to go on another black girl page to project ur own insecurities. 

"#KissMyAssAndMyAnus  S/O TO MY BAD BTCHS THO #HotGirlSummer link in my BIO #QueenRadio TMRW 12NOON PST [sic]."

Now Nicki is catching some heat for using the Black Girl Tragic hashtag to hurl insults at black women, when it was intended to find missing women of colour.

Nicki hasn't responded to the backlash just yet but she did disable her Instagram comments on the photos of her with Kenneth.
