"You really ended Cardi, Drake & The Grammys with only a music video. I stan foreva!"

Nicki Minaj just dropped her music video for "Hard White" and it's messy af. The song, which was from the Queen (2018) album, pretty much drags her former friend Drake and arch-nemesis Cardi B, who she had beef with throughout 2018.

The Barbs dissected all three minutes and 15 seconds of "Hard White" and soon they discovered the seemingly shady messages that lay beneath – and it's juicy. Don't believe us? Well, let's start on Drake.

In the video, the camera quickly pans to a scorpion getting crushed to death. And as we all know, ScorpionΒ is the name of Drake's fifth studio album. Coincidence? We think not.

And there's more… fans believe the clip of dead bird – which ends up getting shot – represents Cardi B.

Why a bird, you ask? Well there are multiple theories. In Nicki's song "Chun Li", she rapped: "These birds copy every word, every inch," which people have said is in reference to Cardi. According to Urban Dictionary, a bird is "an individual who is stupid, foolish, careless, idiotic, moronic, or just plain dumb." Ouch...

Others believe the bird is Cardi's career. The crow traditionally represents death, while an hourglass – which also made it in the video - with sand at the top of the glass is time. In "Hard White" Nicki raps: "Uh, I ain't never play the ho position// I ain't ever have to strip to get the pole position //I ain't moving weight, but I'm in a dope position."

This could be a direct reference to Cardi B career as a stripper. The bullets killed the bird, meaning her career will be dead after her 15 minutes of fame is up.

The bird can also double as her love for Drake dying. Dead birds can mean the loss of a loved one and since they were close pals and longtime collaborators it's very possible. Drake and Nicki ended their friendship last year and he made a hit record with her ex, Meek Mill.

Nicki rounded off with a not-so-subtle dig at the Grammys after missing out on nominations this year. The video featured a gramophone – The Grammys logo.

Whew, we need to lie down.
