Matt Skiba was among the other brand ambassadors helping to promote their Custom Culture competition.

Brendon Urie and Blink-182's Matt Skiba are among the famous faces who have redesigned Vans' classic white slip-on shoes as part of their Custom Culture program.

Now in its ninth year, the competition raises funding for art education in around 500 US schools. Teachers register their schools online and can win up to $75,000 for their art programs. Vans selects the top 50 redesigned shoes before the public vote to determine the top 5. The winner will be announced in May.

Additionally, the company have asked various public figures and influencers to do their own designs. Brendon covered his shoes in the Panic! At The Disco logo and rainbow colours while Matt went for a simple yellow and blue check pattern.
