Cameron Boyce was in Panic! at the Disco's That Green Gentleman video

Brendon Urie paid tribute to Cameron Boyce shortly after he passed away.

People are only just realising that Cameron Boyce had a starring role in Panic! at the Disco's 'That Green Gentleman' video.

Last month (Jul 6), Cameron's family announced that the beloved Disney actor had died at the age of 20. In a statement to ABC news, they wrote: "It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron. He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated." Cameron suffered from epilepsy.

Cameron was most famous for starring in Jessie and the Descendants but fans many not know that he got his first acting role in a Panic! at the Disco music video.

Before landing roles in Disney series like Shake It Up and Good Luck Charlie, Cameron was cast as the child version of Ryan Ross in the video for Panic!'s Pretty.Odd single 'That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed)'.

The visual actually starts with Cameron opening a Russian Doll which contains the band. Panic! then run into a field and open themselves up like Russian Dolls and Cameron and child versions of Brendon Urie, Spencer Smith and Jon Walker jump out of them.

Cameron was just 8-years-old when he starred in the video. Discussing it in a behind the scenes clip, Cameron said: "I've never been in a music video before and especially because I get to be like a mini me of Ryan Ross it's really cool."

In the same video, Brendon says: "They're definitely way more talented and photogenic than us so it's kind of fun to watch".

Brendon recently paid tribute to Cameron via his Twitch livestream. He said: "RIP dude. Such a talented young man. It was incredibly heartbreaking to hear that. Just sending a bunch of love to his family. 20 years old bro. That's very unfortunate. We just enjoyed watching that talented dude. Rest in peace brother."

He then added to fans who are upset: "You need to feel sad. You're feeling sad about losing Cameron Boyce, you need to feel sad about it. I remember crying all day when Robin Williams died. It hit me hard. That dude raise me."

Shortly after Cameron's death, Panic! stans to took to Twitter to praise him.

Cameron's final Disney film Descendants 3 premiered last week. He will also star in the new HBO series Mrs. Fletcher later this year.
