Idina Menzel praises Panic! At The Disco's version of 'Into the Unknown' from Frozen 2

Idina Menzel says that Brendon Urie makes it "sound easy to sing those high notes".
Disney picked Panic! At The Disco to cover 'Into the Unkown' from Frozen 2 and now Idina Menzel has praised their version.
Fans of Disney will already know that they often get a superstar to release a pop version of the lead single from each of their animated musicals. Christina Aguilera famously covered 'Reflection' from Mulan in 1998, Demi Lovato gave 'Let It Go' from Frozen her own spin in 2013 and Alessia Cara took on 'How Far I'll Go' from Moana in 2016.

Now Panic! at the Disco have joined their ranks. For the new Frozen 2 soundtrack, they cover 'Into the Unknown' which Idina Menzel sings as Elsa. And now, Idina has revealed exactly what she thinks of Brendon Urie's version and whether or not he sings it any better than her original.
Speaking to Zach Sang recently (Nov 25), Idina was asked if it's harder to sing 'Into The Unknown' or 'Let It Go'.
She replied: "It's probably 'Into the Unknown' because it's not in my body and in my voice yet. I haven't sung it a lot. In the studio is one thing. That was the same with 'Let It Go'. Once I go on tour and I'm singing it every day, it starts to get in me and I can sing it. It's probably 'Into the Unknown' right now 'cause it's a little bit of the unknown for me."
Idina was then quizzed on what she thinks of Brendon Urie's version of the song.
She said: "Oh it’s good, he makes it sound easy to sing those high notes. It's easy on a certain day and then other days it's not easy but that's probably what he'd say too. When you're in the studio, you can try different things and make mistakes and grab the best one." She added: "I'm a big fan of his."
