Robbie Williams' tells us how his new album took inspo from Brendon's lyrics.

Robbie Williams, still the UK's biggest ever-selling solo artist, has been taking influence on his latest album from an unlikely source - everyone's favourite shirtless forehead-owner Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco.

Back in February, Robbie tweeted about his love for Brendon's latest Sinatra-influenced opus Death Of A Bachelor.

Brendon responded in kind during a newspaper interview, delighted to count the pop legend as a fan.

Well we caught Robbie when he came into the PopBuzz offices this week to promote his new album "The Heavy Entertainment Show" and asked him just what exactly he liked so much about Panic!'s fifth album.

Bombastic, smart, theatrical...his voice sounds great and he looks great. I think we're sharing the same haircut right now...I think the charts is missing some theatre...That album in particular has smart lyrics that make you think, that take you places and that's what I wanted my stuff to sound like.

Now, when can we get a ratpack style team up arranged? Ball's in your court Brendon!
