Hayley Williams reveals Paramore have no plans to release new music

It looks like Paramore are taking a hiatus so that Hayley Williams can focus on Good Dye Young at the moment.
It's a sad day for the Parafamily. Hayley Williams has just confirmed that Paramore are recording no new music right now.
Ever since Paramore released their fifth studio album After Laughter in 2017, fans have been eager to see what's next for the beloved band. Hayley, Taylor and Zac toured the critically acclaimed record until September 2018 but since then things have been quiet. Hayley has been busy working on brand new products for her popular hair dye line, Good Dye Young, and the boys haven't spoken publicly about Paramore at all in recent months.

Now Hayley has revealed what Paramore have planned next and it's bad news for anyone expecting a new album soon.
Speaking to ET at Beautycon in LA, Hayley confessed, "I really don’t know what’s next for Paramore." She then added, "The guys and I just had dinner the other night at my house," before confirming that the reunion wasn't in any way music related. "I think we’re just really enjoying being friends and adult human beings at home by ourselves without music.”
In June, Hayley led fans to believe new music was on the horizon by sharing a mysterious video on Instagram. Talking about the response, Hayley said, "To be honest, I am an awful, awful human for those Instagram posts that I left everyone hanging with." She then explained, "I didn't want people to forget... I have always been a musician first. My first creative outlet was music."
Hayley continued saying, "Even though people are going to see me in this kind of [beauty] space a lot more, I don't want people to forget. So I kind of was like, 'I'm just gonna leave this here, and see ya guys on the flipside!'"
So Paramore aren't recording new music any time soon but it looks like it will happen in the future.
It's worth remembering that Paramore left a four year gap between Paramore and After Laughter so it wouldn't be out of the question to expect new Paramore music in 2021. Fingers crossed.
